I grabbed a knife to test the texture of it's skin so I will know what cooking would be good to this kind of squash, how lovely! I was unwilling to cut it because it was beautiful! Instead of slicing it, it turned out to be the object of my art. I grabbed my camera and took photo of it. My appetite of eating was gone. Normally I love to eat squash especially the japanese-cabocha, it is starchy and taste like a sweet potato, This one looks crunchy but interesting. Eventually I ended up cooking the beautiful squash, I baked it with butter, salt, pepper and a bit of honey. I was surprised of the taste it was good..
